Les Bâloise Gourmets are honouring restaurants that are making waves in Luxembourg's gastronomic circles. For September, Bâloise Assurances Luxembourg and Explorator delighted to feature the restaurant Mu Luxembourg,owned by Sofitel Luxembourg le Grand Ducal, headed by Chef Sébastien Perrot.
Founded in September 2017, this new restaurant on the eighth storey of Sofitel Luxembourg le Grand Ducal is still creating a buzz, with a panoramic view of the entire Pétrusse valley and an innovative concept where beef, sharing, and friendliness reign supreme.
By breaking traditional gastronomic codes and breathing fresh air into its cooking, Mu Luxembourg has now become one of the big names in culinary experience in Ville Haute.
This convivial feel is evident upon your arrival, with ultra-trendy colours like green and turquoise blue, unfinished wooden tables and sublime brass lamps, all in perfect harmony with the staff uniforms.
As for the food, the sharing aspect is emphasised from the start of your experience with the selection of small dishes and tapas to share. For main courses, we would like to recommend in particular:
- The Mu Burger with fries to delight food lovers.
- The tuna steak with olive oil sauce accompanied by tender seasonal vegetables that healthy food lovers will find amazing.
Finish on an intense note with the Grande Duchesse Charlotte, a marvellous combination of chocolate in various forms.
